SalarySearch Consultancy are currently working with one of Scotland's top legal Firms to recruit a Proposals Executive to join their Edinburgh based MBD team. The Proposals Executive will work with the Proposals Manager and other internal stakeholders to facilitate the strategic development of the Firm.
The team plays a pivotal role in the strategic direction and implementation of the Firm's growth plan. This role offers a strong opportunity for career progression, as you will be given the opportunity to explore key areas of interest to you.
Duties involved in this role will include:
* Work closely with the Proposals Manager and Head of Proposals alongside internal clients to support in the achievement of the Firm's strategic plans
* Work closely with the wider MBD team to deliver firm initiatives efficiently
* Support in the identification of opportunities for the Firm through research of clients and sectors
* Support the Proposals Manager in the development of the response structure
* Lead response planning sessions with experts to develop bespoke client solutions
* Develop persuasive first draft answers and responses while utilising the proposals library, rewriting after feedback to ensure win themes are articulated
* Reviewing the firm's library to maintain accuracy, correcting when necessary
In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* 3 years experience in a proposal or bids focused role within the Professional Services or Construction sector OR a Lawyer with 5 years PQE
* Strong academic background with a degree level education in English, Marketing, Business or equivalent subjects
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to clearly present complex information
* Confident working under pressure and strict time frames
* Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills, with strong general MS Office skills
* Experience in proposal automation software
