Within the RLG UK business, we have c.6 million policies (spread across pension, protection, savings & investment, and annuity products) that belong to our Long Standing Customers (LSC). These customers play a central role in RLG’s success and the ability to achieve our Purpose whilst delivering our strategy. We support the long-term financial resilience of our long-standing customers, many of whom are vulnerable, by ensuring excellent service and positive outcomes.
The Proposition Managerhas responsibility for supporting the vision & definition of the LSC propositions, making informed decisions about appropriate changes to the propositions and services, whilst ensuring that LSC propositions are delivering good customer outcomes. You will undertake end-to-end proposition activity across all LSC products. A key part of this role is providing day to day leadership and guidance to the Proposition Analysts.
We have two vacancies for this exciting opportunity to play a key part in driving and shaping the outcomes delivered for our long standing customers.
About the role
- Supports the management and oversight of LSC propositions by ensuring:
- continually seeking ways to challenge and improve customer outcomes.
- products are compliant with legislation, regulatory requirements and standards.
- any actions arising from escalations, compliance monitoring and audit activity are resolved within agreed timescales.
- Provides propositional technical expertise and direction, working with and influencing stakeholders across the business, including actuarial, customer services, legal, risk, compliance and tax.
- Accurate, meaningful reporting identifying key customer metrics and issues for concern fed through to LSC Executive Committee.
- Understands the key responsibilities of key LSC 3rd parties and interdependencies with Royal London.
- Provides subject matter expertise into the delivery of allocated items from the LSC local change backlog, Rectification activity and larger Group projects.
About you
- Understanding of financial services industry and products and the associated legislative/regulatory frameworks.
- A good understanding of customers and how to tailor propositions around their needs.
- Ability to influence within peer group and management levels.
- Strong focus on delivery, working with stakeholders to agree priorities and align resources.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Can inspire others to adapt to change / show positive attitude to change.
- Excellent internal and external network and experience of working with third parties.
- Drive, motivation, determination to succeed.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
