Are you a PSV/ HGV Technician looking for a new role based in Southall?

As a PSV/ HGV Technician, you will be working in the Engineering team based at the Southall Depot, working a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off.
 
You will play a key role in running a large volume of vehicles a PSV / HGV Technician, being vital in London’s public transport service.
 
Your duties as a PSV / HGV Technician:
 
·         Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining buses.
·         Investigating and diagnosing any mechanical and electronic faults.
·         Recording faults, and the work done to rectify them, using a tablet.
·         Following safety instructions and reporting any issues.
 
The ideal Candidate for this PSV / HGV Technician
 
·         Willing to complete shifts on four days on and four days off rota.
·         Have at least an NVQ level 2 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification).
·         If you do not have an NVQ you will need to pass the IRTEC Service Maintenance Technician exam during your six-month probation.
·         Not essential, but it would be desirable if you also have a PCV licence.
