Psychology Teacher / Sociology Teacher needed to cover a maternity leave, Easter start (or sooner), A-level Your new school

The school are seeking an interim teacher to join them from April till July, 5 days a week (although part-time could be considered).
Your new role
As this is a long-term role, you will be required to:
Plan and prepare Psychology and/or Sociology lessons for pupils in KS5Complete the marking and assessment of pupils’ work, along with being involved with facility and department meetingYou will deliver these lessons in a positive learning environment, ensuring all pupils are progressing consistently and achieving target gradesHave a focus on keeping high expectations of students’ attainment and behaviourWhat you'll need to succeed
Possess Qualified Teacher Status or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills StatusExperience of teaching Psychology or Sociology within a secondary school is essential. ECT’s with placement experience will be consideredYou will possess excellent behaviour management skills.You will be keen to work as part of a team, share ideas and good practice.You will be available to start at Easter and continue on a long-term basis.
