We are seeking a dedicated Payroll professional, available for either part-time Payroll OR full-time payroll plus accounts, to join our esteemed business services firm in Brighton. The successful candidate will thrive in a team member role within our Accounting & Finance Department. Client Details Our client is a respected chartered accountancy firm based in Brighton. With a team of highly skilled professionals, this medium-sized organisation provides comprehensive business services, including accounting and financial advisory, to a wide range of clients. Description To assist in the processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls accurately and efficiently Assisting with submission of CIS including verifying contractors Key support for payroll manager Process and submit pension schedules to various pension providers Set up new PAYE schemes and Nest pension schemes Have a good understanding of and process statutory payments where needed Ensure excellent customer service levels at all times Liaise with HMRC regarding client queries Gain client confidence to be their first port of call for communication with the firm. Profile A successful PT Payroll OR FT PayrollAccounts should have: A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proficiency in Sage Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. Good understanding of payroll and accounting procedures.
