Pts Supervisor

Job Description:

As a PTS Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities related to our rail project. Your primary focus will be ensuring that the work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. You will play a key role in managing site operations, supervising site staff, and maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of site personnel, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress updates, and safety documentation.
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant rail industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in the rail industry.
• Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification.
• Strong knowledge of rail construction and maintenance practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
