An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Public Health Observatory at Kent County Council as a full-time Public Health Information Officer.
The Public Health Information Officer will provide important analytical input into the process of understanding health needs in Kent, addressing health inequalities and determining priorities for action. They will support Senior Analysts and collaborate with other Analysts and the Public Health department across a broad range of work areas including health needs assessments, health equity audits, programme evaluations, data retrieval and maintenance, project evaluations, presentation and infographic design and website maintenance.
The post requires excellent numeracy and good written English skills. You will have a quantitative analytical background, will have an understanding of Public Health issues and experience of working with detailed record level data sets. This role is an ideal first step for those interested in pursuing a career in Public Health or healthcare analytics.
