Your focus will be on designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating stop smoking services in Surrey. This position requires close collaboration with the Senior Public Health Lead and Public Health Principal. Within this team, you will ensure that services and interventions are needs-based, address health inequalities, and are evidence-based. Monitoring the performance of the One You Surrey stop smoking service and supporting the wider system in engaging in smoking cessation and tobacco control activities and interventions are also part of your responsibilities, including managing a budget of over £1m.
You will work closely with stakeholders and partners locally and across the Integrated Care System to address nicotine addiction, including local interventions and the new Government Stopping the Start agenda.
