We are working with a well-established business based in Sheffield who are excited to be growing their team with a Purchase Ledger Assistant!
This is a varied role working alongside a strong finance team, providing fundamental support on the Purchase Ledger desk. This role would suit someone who has experience in a similar role and is confident with invoice processing, looking to work in an interesting sector and further develop their skills. You will be part of supportive and brilliant team, joining a positive and upbeat environment!
Purchase Ledger duties will include:
- Match a high volume of purchase invoices to corresponding purchase orders, ensuring accuracy.
- Process delivery notes efficiently to facilitate smooth inventory management.
- Record all company purchase invoices and credit notes.
- Handle internal and external queries promptly and professionally.
- Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate financial records.
- Process timely payments to suppliers, ensuring adherence to payment schedules.
The ideal Purchase Ledger Assistant:
- Experience in a similar Purchase Ledger role
- Strong IT skills (using accounting software and excel)
- Positive attitude and drive
- Good eye for detail
