Job Description
Would you like to join our Accounts team based at Hemswell, nr Gainsborough as a Purchase Ledger Assistant. This is a full time, fixed term contract role for 12 months, working Monday to Friday from 08.30-17.00 with one hour for lunch.
Your Responsibilities & Role Purpose
- Process Purchase Invoices – matching against PO system
- Process daily and weekly payment runs (in different currencies)
- Liaise with PO approvers and ensure correct process is carried out
- Liaise with Farm Traders and prepare paperwork for contract prepayments
- Calculate and process Interest invoices for prepaid contracts
- Fix FX Hedges within FX System
- Deal with queries
- Any other reasonable tasks requested
Your Profile
- Excellent communication skills being able to interact and build relationships both internally and externally.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft IT software – Outlook, Word, Excel utilising skills into using bespoke systems.
- Previous accounts experence preferred, although not essential.
- Ability to engage with others, being a strong team player.
- Good timekeeping skills with a can do attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
