My Walsall based client are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a full time and permanent basis.
Duties will include:
- Inputting purchase invoices
- Dealing with purchase & nominal ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of statements
- Taking payment and processing
- Creating payment runs to suppliers
- Matching invoice and delivery notes
- Approving and rejecting invoices/payments
- Dealing with queries and resolving
- Any other general adhoc administration
Key skills:
- Essential that you have previous Purchase Ledger / accounting procedures experience
- Must have good attention to detail and accuracy skills
- Be fully conversant in MS Word / Excel / Outlook
- Proficient in using accounting software Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
