Position: Purchase Ledger
Salary: Up to £28,000
Location: Tewkesbury

As a Purchase Ledger, you will play a crucial part in processing payments, bank reconciliations and other functions. You will have strong numerical skills and high attention to detail. Working in the office in Tewkesbury Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00 this is a great opportunity.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Processing supplier invoices.
- Managing and scheduling supplier payments according to agreed terms.
- Conduct regular account reconciliations.
- Assist with daily bank reconciliations ensuring all transactions are accounted for.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts.
- Process various types of financial transactions including bank transfers receipts and disbursements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email.
- Implement process improvements.
- Providing general support to the Sales and Purchase ledger teams.
Skills and Attributes:
- Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger or Treasury Assistant.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong accounting principals and practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
