Description
As a Purchase Ledger Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Leading a team of finance assistants to success, ensuring all invoices are processed within a timely manner
- Proactively managing the relationships of internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and assist in implementing new processes to streamline work flow
- Proposing corrective action to team members when/where required
- Being a role model within the department, demonstrating the groups values and behaviours
- Conducting monthly 121 and review meetings with staff
- Dealing with any escalations that may arise
- Having difficult conversations with external suppliers over the phone
- Supporting the team when the volume of work is high
- Other adhoc responsibilities
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Experience working in a similar role previously
- Very high attention to detail
- Experience managing a team of staff previously
