Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will assist in managing product data and inventory on the purchase control system and issue purchase orders to suppliers as well as other administrative tasks for the purchasing department.
Daily duties include:
- Printing of re-order reports and raising orders
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor stock levels by means of re-order reports and place orders as required
- Enter new parts into the system as required
- Liaise with customer services, internal sales and scheduling to keep abreast of projects
- Ensuring supplier invoice details
- Conduct administrative and support activities as and when requested
Requirements for the role:
- Extremely organised
- Excellent administrative skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Strong communication skills and proactive
- Strong team player
- IT literate
- Strong interest in procurement/buying.
