Purchasing Administrator

Fantastic position for a motivated, analytical, and process driven Purchasing Administrator to join a manufacturing company offering the opportunity to take ownership of Purchasing activities, managing an open order book across a range of suppliers.
Duties:
- Building fantastic relationships with suppliers
- Accurate use of in-house systems, overseeing a range of selected suppliers ensuring Buyers are fully appraised of any risks and delays so communication and corrective actions can be undertaken
- Spotting and resolving anomalies
- Supporting the team with all administrative assistance
- Any other ad-hoc project-based duties as required
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Experience within a similar industry is desirable, however not essential
- Proven working experience within a similar administrative role
- Able and willing to work from the office – no hybrid working due to industry
- The ability to work independently
- IT savvy, with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ideally experience with ERP system
- A consistent CV demonstrating stability
- An excellent communicator
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent)
