SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant for our Nottingham based client. This is a full-time permanent role the flexibility to work from home a few days per week.
Ideally you will have previous procurement/purchasing experience and be used to working within a fast-paced environment and liaising with suppliers. You must have strong communication skills as you will be required to work cross-functionally.
The typical hours for this role are 9-5.30 but the client can accommodate flexibility around this. The salary for this role is up to £27,000.
Typical duties will include:
- Place PO's
- Expedite deliveries
- Update system records
- Process NDA's
- Set up new suppliers.
- General office administration
- Ability to interact with other departments
- Dealing with invoice queries
- Strong attention to detail
