Sourcing and developing the latest technology working directly with their manufacturers UK and overseas so there is an element of travel involved for this role. My client specialises in the Vehicle safety solutions industry so sharing that experience is essential. The Purchasing and Technical Manager needs to have strong management skills, clear communicational skills and exceptional negotiating skills. Purchasing and Technical Manager Package:
- Monday to Friday
- Hybrid working
- £30,000 - £42,000
Purchasing and Technical Manager Responsibilities:
- Procuring goods and services for company use.
- Evaluating and Selecting suppliers.
- Negotiating contracts with vendors.
- Conducting thorough product quality assessments.
- Planning, directing and managing all aspects of sourcing vehicle solutions.
- Sourcing and developing the latest technology working directly with our manufacturers UK and overseas.
- Knowledge of Vehicle Safety and aftermarket solutions.
Purchasing and Technical Manager Requirements:
- Experience in Vehicle safety systems is essential.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a small, fast paced team with a substantial workload.
- Proficient in numeracy.
- Solid IT skills.
- Proven procurement and supplier management experience.
- Results driven.
- Excellent communicator and team player.
