Position: Purchasing Coordinator Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum Location: Crawley, West Sussex Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. First Recruitment Services are delighted to be assisting our client, an expert in their field who are seeking a Purchasing Coordinator on a permanent basis. The role: Compare pricing/quotations from different suppliers. Identifying opportunities for cost reductions. Identifying potential new suppliers. Maintaining purchasing records. Prepare reports and cost analysis. Raising purchase orders in line with supplier quotations. Resolving customer and supplier queries by telephone and email. Checking supplier invoices are correct. Passing invoices for payments. Providing general cover and assistance within the sales office. Experience/Skills Required: Sage 200 experience is advantageous. Experience within a purchasing role is advantageous. Experience of important/export process and procedures is essential. Experience working within the construction industry / trades people is advantageous. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills both written and verbally. Ability to manage time and workload effectively. Experience working within an office environment. IT Literate.
