They offer unique tours to their clients and are a trusted partner of choice for a broad range of high quality tours and experiences.
They are now recruiting a Purchasing Executive for their accommodation and tour services throughout Europe and a focus on France.
The role
- Sourcing hotel space within the company’s portfolio for booked groups.
- Acquiring a competitive price for our client.
- Negotiating hotel rates and terms & conditions
- Developing relationships with hotels: exchanging feedback, providing updates, identifying ways of presenting group booking requests to each individual supplier to optimise outcome; dealing with supplier book-outs, supporting supplier complaint resolution
- Monitoring loadings of specific dates/locations and updating contracts in the internal system.
You will have
- A background of working in Travel and wanting to move into Purchasing
- A passion for travel and learning about new locations, cultures, and attractions.
- Ability to resolve problems, work with multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and able to work as under own initiative, and as part of a wider team.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures, highlighting potential ways to enhance them.
- IT literate with a working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with accurate written and spoken English. Spoken and written languages are a benefit.
