A Purchasing Manager with confident Excel skills is required for Hunters' luxury brand client working with some of the most established designers in the world. The Purchasing Manager is a diverse and fast-paced role, with responsibility for the daily management and leadership of the purchasing department, as well as creating and executing purchasing and supply chain strategies.
Full Time Monday to Friday, 9-5.30 on-site

* Manage and mentor the purchasing department and daily purchasing activities
* Establish and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures
* Negotiate and execute purchase orders as needed to support business needs
* Manage all activities that develop relationships with suppliers
* Report to management the measurable status of progress and corrective actions taken to address any issues related to supplier performance
Purchasing Manager - the fit
* Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar buyer/planner/supply chain role handling offshore suppliers
* Experience with ERP software
* Leadership skills
* Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
* Demonstrate a "hands-on" style and willingness to proactively engage
* Ability to present information (prepare reports, rationale, and recommendations clearly and concisely to all levels of management)
