Our growing first tier Automotive Manufacturing Client based in Tamworth are seeking to add a driven, experienced and dynamic Purchasing Leader with a good overall understanding of supply chain to take on a wide-ranging role within a small but growing business.
Currently turning over circa 15m & supplying a number of Automotive OEMs and first tiers the business is scaling up with multiple new larger contracts signed.
We are looking for someone who can be both hands on in terms of leading a purchasing function from the front but who, reporting into the MD can have responsibility for the overall purchasing strategy.
As the Purchasing Manger you will be managing a team 4 with the following responsibilities
- Negotiate prices and contracts with Suppliers
- Lead and develop the team
- Develop & maintain robust systems to ensure accuracy of Purchasing function
- Build and develop great working relationships is suppliers
- Evaluate and analyse supplier performance
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand & plan purchasing needs.
- Continuous improvement of purchasing processes & systems

We are seeking a proven Purchasing Manager with experience of working within a first-tier automotive manufacturing environment.
The successful Purchasing Manager can expect a starting salary of 60k + Car/Allowance + Benefits.
