We currently have an opportunity for a Purchasing/Administration Officer to join the Campus Services Team on a full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to join The University of Bradford, supporting the purchasing function for the Directorate of Infrastructure under the direction of the Campus Operations Manager and Administration Team Co-Ordinator.
The role liaises with a wide variety of people across the University community and external bodies requiring excellent accuracy skills, interpersonal and communications skills, including taking responsibility for Directorate of Infrastructure spend, credit cards, management of University vehicles, wages for temporary staff and involvement to support with ongoing recruitment demands.
It is essential the post holder has previous purchasing experience including resolving purchasing related queries, excellent administration and telephone skills, interpreting calls accurately and has full experience of administration processes, including experience of using Microsoft packages and bespoke databases.
