SalaryWe are looking to employ a QA, HEALTH + SAFETY MANAGER & BUYER ASSISTANT to support the growth of the business and contribute towards further accreditation whilst securing the existing QA procedures. This candidate will also support the Buying Manager in the carrying out of administrative tasks.
The candidate will be charged with the following tasks:
QA, HEALTH + SAFETY AND TECHNICAL COMPLIANCE MANAGER
- Maintaining & developing the company-wide QA, Health & Safety and Technical Compliance programs in line with business activity & growth.
- Training & enforcing the QA, Health & Safety and Technical Compliance programs’ enactment across the company to compulsory standards.
- Ensuring the company’s successful pass rate on all internal & external audits.
- Communicating weekly with the Company Director to prioritise department activity & update on all progress & feedback.
BUYER’S ASSISTANT
- To support the Buyer in placing and processing purchase orders
- To support the Buyer in making sales and budget forecasts
- To support the Sales Team by providing specs on all suppliers and their products
Skills & Experience needed:
Managerial experience in QA, Health & Safety and Technical Compliance in the food industry.
Previous experience in a Buying capacity.
Entitled to work in the UK without a work permit sponsorship.
