The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Tester to play a key role in our development team.
As a Manual QA Tester, you will be responsible for manually testing our e-commerce website throughout the development cycle, ensuring functionality, usability, and consistency for an optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
, Conduct manual tests on our e-commerce website to identify bugs and usability issues.
, Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and updates.
, Create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
, Document and report defects and errors to the development team.
, Work closely with the team to prioritise and resolve issues.
, Provide feedback on usability and suggest improvements.
, Assist in optimising testing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
, Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Required Skills:
, Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, preferably in e-commerce.
, Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
, Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
, Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
, Good communication and teamwork abilities.
, Familiarity with web-based technologies and platforms.
, A passion for providing a flawless user experience.
Qualifications:
, Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience i.e.
ISTQB certification/CSTE certification
