Job description
We are recruiting for Quality Assurance Operative to work at our Llanidloes site who are keen to learn new skills, are focused and driven. If you feel that this describes you, we want to hear from you! We are looking to invest into people, providing role specific training to progress enthusiastic candidates up through the business.
Reporting to the QA Manager, successful applicant will be trained to rotate across a number of areas including, the butchery, abattoir, packing and despatch. You will also be responsible for complying with health, safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Verifying production paperwork
Conducting quality/ temperature and labels checks
Solving quality / labelling issues
Taking Samples – micro, ATP, organoleptic
Placing products on hold / rejecting
Conducting GMP audits
Direct observations
Completing reasonable request from QA/technical manager
Liaise with production and management team
Manages own working time effectively & completes all tasks required
Previous experience would be beneficial.
The successful applicant will need to be flexible and use a variety of skills, understanding quality, product and safety requirements and be able to handle non routine situations which may arise.

The vacancies are full time on a regular shift pattern across a 40 hour week. Actual times worked may vary slightly due to job rotation on a busy production area.
