Qc Analyst

We are currently looking for a QC Analyst to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the QC Analyst you will be responsible for the analysis of generic pharmaceutical drugs with a variety of different instruments.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the QC Analyst will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Perform release stability testing of QC samples through HPLC, UV, Dissolution and Karl Fischer. Carry out sampling of all incoming raw materials.
2. Maintain reference samples and carry out testing of all raw materials and finished products, recording results to with strict adherence to GDP.
3. Write/update analytical methods and standard operating procedures within the laboratory remit.
4. Perform QC reviews of manufacturing facilities.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the QC Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Pharmaceutical sciences or Chemistry related discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in a laboratory environment adhering to GMP.
3. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and practical experience with HPLC analysis and troubleshooting.
