QC ANALYST LEVEL 1

- You will be earning: £11.44 per hour.
- This is an ongoing role.
Your day-to-day tasks as a QC Analyst:
- Day-to-day execution of analytical testing in conformance with all relevant safety and quality requirements.
- Day-to-day implementation, maintenance, and application of management, operational, or quality systems.
- Understanding and contributing to key performance indicators.
- Continual improvement activities within their section.
- Execution of any reasonable request from their line manager.
- Challenging and being passionate about Quality, taking responsibility and ownership for compliant processes that continually improve.
What are the key responsibilities of a QC Analyst?
- Testing of Quality Control batches within the laboratory.
- To ensure that relevant data is recorded and available for inspection in accordance with Good Manufacturing and Good Laboratory Practices.
- To maintain high standards of laboratory / office housekeeping in the work areas.
- Provide support to Regulatory Authority inspections as required.
- To ensure cGMP compliant delivery of their activities.
- Apply and maintain the cGMP processes / documentation / systems that are relevant to their area, and / or as may be delegated by laboratory management.
- Taking ownership for training, seeking out opportunities to fulfil individual training needs.
- Responsible operator tasks for basic equipment within the laboratory, including SOP writing and maintenance in relation to the equipment.
- To ensure that QC equipment and systems are maintained / calibrated / qualified to appropriate standards.
- To deliver assigned tasks as required to meet or exceed QC Key Performance Indicator targets.
- To support the continuous development of wider QC operations and continuous improvement programmes.
- To communicate issues effectively and appropriately to ensure timely resolution with all relevant parties whilst maintaining the positive image of Reckitt and QC.
- Develop, implement, and monitor the progress of their individual personal development plan.
What are we looking for in a Candidate?
- Degree level qualification and/or relevant and demonstrable skills and experience.
- Good delivery of core skills.
- Demonstrable or transferable skills relevant to the delivery of QC activities.
- Demonstrable skills in working within a multi-level team environment.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team of people.
- Basic awareness of troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral with sound presentation skills.
- Good IT skills required, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Chromeleon and SAP would be advantageous.
