Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Receipt, Bulk strip, Detail & Final build inspection of gas turbine components
Inspect and measure engine components upon return from vendors using calipers, gauges, micrometres & various other measuring equipment
Use of Faro Arm to carry out daily inspection checks (training will be provided if required)
Responsible for visual and dimensional inspections on various gas turbine components
Assisting quality Engineers with problem solving & managing quality related issues
Ensuring inspection documentation is completed & kept to a high standard
Knowledge of quality processes & measuring tools
Dimensional reporting and liaise with Project engineers
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Minimum of 3 years' experience within related industry
Previous experience of QC Inspection
Working knowledge of industrial gas turbines and/or power turbines and associated equipment (preferred)
Ability to understand and communicate illustrated parts catalogues
Ability to understand engineering drawings
Flexible approach, team player and ability to work independently
Excellent written and verbal communication
Computer literate, with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
High level of attention to detail
