QC Technician/Lab TechnicianJob Summary:
Take samples from the line for microbiological & analytical testing
Analyse finished products to approved specifications and in accordance with the prescribed methods
Make sure date coding & labelling is correct
Monitor CCPs - rinser validation, crimp & screw cap checks & pasteuriser set up and monitoring using Redpost
Carry out ATP monitoring as required, using Accupoint 2 system
Work in a safe manner at all times following the Health and Safety guidelines
Work in line with Work Instructions and prescribed methods at all times
Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of individual work area and ensure a standard of good housekeeping in the laboratory
Make pasteuriser adjustments as required
Communicate, as soon as practicable, any problems/issues found as a result of the analysis/checks carried out to the QC Team Leader or relevant operative or senior member of the Technical Team
Carry out laboratory work efficiently within the safety policies and quality procedures of the company
Report results through laboratory records and the company's computer system

4 days on - 12 hours in duration
4 days off
4 nights on - 12 hours in duration
4 nights off

Salary payments will be made every 4 weeks and will be based on annual salary of £29700
