Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading provider of industrial automation, test and measurement solutionns to recruit a SHEQ Manager out of its Runcorn office, with a requirement to work across gas pipeline EPC upgrades across the UK once commissioning stage has been reached.
The operational safety essential SHEQ Manager role comes with a salary upto £60,000, a car allowance, up to 12.5% pension contributions, private medical and healthcare.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the EPC Manager you will:
- Develop and maintain SHEQ Relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Report on business process performance, incident management and SHEQ escalations.
- Implement SHEQ compliance processes and continually work to train staff on these principals.
- Design and implement new standards, business processes and procedures, improving existing processes.
- Manage incident reporting.
- Prepare site induction safety packs.
- Review survey plans and ensure that HSE aspects are appropriately addressed.
- Assist the PC in compliance to CDM regulations.
- Contribute to project risk registers.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Experience in a SHEQ management position within the EPC for utility sectors (gas, electrical, water, etc).
- NEBOSH / IOSH qualifications
- Experience working within CDM:2015 regulations
- Knowledge of ISO9001
