About the opportunity:

We are the internal recruitment partner for our client, a global organisation offering excellence in supply chain solutions to the aerospace industry.

An exciting NEW opportunity has arisen for a technical minded QMS Software Specialist to join the team based at their state-of-the-art facility in West Horndon.

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the roll out and implementation of the NEW Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring the integration runs smoothly across the wider organisation.

As the QMS Software Specialist, you will be recognised as the system "superuser" providing training and ongoing support to colleagues. You will be the main point of contact between the organisation and the external software provider, ensuring the system meets the needs of the business and complies with internal processes and procedures.

You will take responsibility for any updates and system maintenance and collaborate with other areas of the business to identify opportunities for system enhancements and implement process improvement initiatives.

Full training will be provided, however; if you have a technical background, previous experience with a QMS or just a passion for driving quality improvement through technology, then we want to hear from you!

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

· Previous experience in a simlar role or working knowledge of a Quality Management System (QMS) would be desirable.

· A confident communicator who is at ease with facilitating training and being a talking partner to the external software provider.

· Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage their own workload effectively.

· Highly organised individual who can keep others on track too.

· A natural problem solver with a willingness to learn.

· A great communicator who can listen well, take on new ideas and feedback effectively.

· Computer literate a good knowledge of MS office - (Power BI desirable).

· Ability to positively collaborate and communicate with colleagues at all levels maintaining good working relationships.

· Live within a commutable distance to the offices in West Horndon.
