Children Centre Qualified Early Years Room Leader (Early Years Officer)

• Salary:£27,912 - £33,115 (inclusive of LW) or pro rata for Term time. (Negotiable on experience)
• Pay Level: Level 5, SCP 13 to 23.
• Contract Type: Permanent.
• Working Hours:
  • 8am – 16:15pm – 5days – Term time only
  • 8am – 18:00pm – 4days – All year round
• Location: Nursery in a Children’s Centre
• DBS requirement: Enhanced.

What you’ll be doing:

To lead a team of early years practitioners based in an early years setting in a Children’s Centre, ensuring delivery of high quality teaching and learning. You will oversee staff in the successful implementation of the daily operations of a room for children aged between 3months and 8years, providing full care and education. You will be responsible for supervision and mentoring for early years qualified and unqualifed staff and you will be working as part of a multi agency team.

What you'll have:

You will need experience working with children in an early years environment, understand early years legilsation and safeguarding and have obtained a Level 3 qualification in early years pratice or equivalent.
