- Salary range - The salary range for this role is set at £ 27,900- £ 39,900 prorated to £47,850 on a 45 hour contract
- Contract type - This is a permanent role
We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Electrician (internally known as a Multi Skilled Electrician) to join our maintenance team at The Odney club.
Working alongside a small maintenance team, assisting the Maintenance lead with looking after the routine planned and reactive electrical tasks throughout the Hotel and leisure buildings.
Alongside your electrical jobs, you will have some maintenance tasks to complete assisting the other team members in their trade.
About the role:-
You will be performing routine building maintenance tasks such as repairing faulty door locks and window latches, changing light bulbs and the repairing of furniture.
Completing preventative maintenance such as Legionella water checks, air filter changes, fire alarm and smoke detector checks, ladder checks and record keeping for Health and Safety and Compliance.
Reactive and minor maintenance
Out of hours support 24/7 on a rota basis is optional - On call and call out compensation will be given.

Essential skills you’ll need:-
City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 or NVQ equivalent
18th edition IEE wiring regulations certificate
Full and clean driving licence with minimum 3 years experience
- air conditioning and heating systems
- domestic hot and cold water services
- low voltage electrical distribution to include lighting, power and data communication
- fire protection /detection/alarm systems
- water treatment and monitoring
- standby generators and UPS systems
- mechanical handling equipment
To hold relevant city and guilds qualification or can demonstrate proven competency in one or more of the following trades: Joinery, carpentry, plumbing, metalwork, decorating, drainage, Tiling, flooring or wet trades.
Good standard of PC usage to maintain straight forward records and communication
Desirable skills you could bring:-
- Food Hygiene Level 1
- City and Guilds in mechanical discipline or NVQ 6018 Heating and ventilation industrial and commercial installations.
