Qualified Social Worker - Amhp

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker - Approved Mental Health Practitioner Team with the Social Care industry in Westminster.

The role:

As a Senior Social Worker within our Joint Homelessness Team, you can make your own powerful contribution to changing people's lives for the better. Working within a large network of organisations providing services for people with mental health problems who sleep rough in the local area, you'll also be part of a close-knit, committed, experienced team from a wide range of professional backgrounds, including healthcare.

Combining outreach work and direct contact with service users with some management responsibilities it's a great opportunity to maintain clinical social work practice while developing your career. Working closely with the JHT Manager, you will provide operational management and leadership to Social Workers within the multidisciplinary team. You will ensure that Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) practice adheres to the Mental Health Act.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with Vulnerable Adults with Mental Health
• Care management
• Report writing and assessment
• Carrying a caseload of service users
• Managing complex cases
• Liaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health Act
• Safeguarding Adults
• Self-directed support / personal budgets

Experience preferred:

• Post qualifying experience of working within a Qualified Social Worker - Approved Mental Health Practitioner Team within the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements:

• SWE Registration
• Enhanced DBS (we can obtain for you)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
