SalaryRemedy Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Forensic Social Worker to work within Enfield Council.
Job Purpose
- Safeguarding of adults and children - safeguarding referrals, risk management strategies, liaison with external agencies - Children and Family teams, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, VLO, MAPPA (referrals and attendance), MARAC, etc.
- Engage appropriately with inpatients and families / carersin accordance with regulatory frameworks for social work - maintain clarity of role, apply interventions which encompass an understanding of the interrelationship between Mental Health, vulnerability and offending behaviour, identify the need for independent or specialist advocacy.
- Undertake assessment of need & patient social issues - implement responsive social work interventions, promote least restrictive options, articulate a social perspective within a multi professional context. Contact with family, friends, carers providing information / signposting where agreed.
You will need to be:
- SWE registered
- Eligible to work in the UK
