We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Fostering & Permanence Team within Islington. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their Social Worker staffing levels.

The responsibilities of the Social Worker includes:
- Assess, supervise and support carers to help them ensure the best quality care for children, working with the network to promote permanence and stability. You will use individual work, group work and deliver training to facilitate the development of carers ability to offer attuned care.
- Work directly with the child or young person and their family or carer to build empathic, purposeful relationships that facilitate meaningful and sustainable change as well as stability in placement and permanency for children.
- Provide support using best evidence direct work address support identified needs, significant risk and support children and young people in placements, those being adopted and moving to independence.
- Provide supervision and support to carers, individually, in families, facilitating groups and training within the fostering and permanence roles.
To ideal candidate will have:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DPSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
