Job Title: Supervising Social Worker

Location: Luton - (Bedfordshire)

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (5-day working week or 9-day fortnight)

Salary: 32,480 - 38,570 DOE

Embark on an exciting journey with Our Client, Nexus Fostering! We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Supervising Social Worker to join our dynamic team at the 3 Counties office, covering Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, and surrounding areas.

The Role:

As a Supervising Social Worker, you play a crucial role in providing high-level supervision and support to foster carers, fostering positive environments for children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment, assessment, and approval of foster carers using the Form F model.
• Deliver training and support to foster carers, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and guidance.
• Undertake independent visits, fostering positive and trusting relationships.
• Presentation of comprehensive written reports to the fostering panel.
• Management of placements, planning, and intervention for both emergency and planned referrals.

What We're Looking For:

• Dip SW/CQSW/Social Work Degree with current SWE registration.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Experience in children's services and foster care delivery.
• Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours telephone support system and occasional weekend work.
