TeacherActive is looking for a Qualified Teacher to work in our special schools. We have very strong, positive relationships with a number of excellent special schools in Barnsley and we are looking for Teachers who are passionate about making a difference and catering their lessons to positively impact the educational development of young people with additional needs. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your profile and keep every day exciting.
The ideal SEND QTS should have the following:
- QTS with experience in Special Educational Needs teaching
- A calm, patient, and caring persona
- Good behaviour management
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Experience in working with and supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
