Qualifying Supervisor- Electrical (Housing Repairs and Maintenance)
Bennet Road/Council Sites, RG2
Salary up to £47,420 + Van + Fuel Card

Person Specification:
Meeting full compliance of electrical safety works evidenced by the internal workforce & external contractors and independent audits from NICEIC (national register of electrical business) that provide certification of safe working practise will permit annual SCP progression as part of annual appraisal process

Qualifications/Education/Training-
GSCE or equivalent in Maths and English.
Must have served a recognised electrical apprenticeship.
City and Guilds 2360 Part 2 and 2382-10
18th Edition or NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Electrical Installation Work, with demonstrable experience of a range of electrical skills including repairs and maintenance and complete rewiring
Knowledge of Building Trades/Construction.
City and Guilds, 2391 (Inspection, Testing and Certification) Certificate
A Knowledge of compliance within a local authority or private sector business.

Experience
Electrical qualification and compliant with current legislation requirements.
Able to work in occupied properties.
Experience of installing/commissioning new works.
Experience of fault finding on domestic and commercial electrical appliances and equipment.
Proven capability of multi skilling
Worked within the general building business including maintenance and refurbishment.
Previous experience of the supervision of staff carrying out tasks on site
Proven capability of multi skilling
