Quality and Maintenance Fleet Engineer

As an O&M Fleet Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful operation and Maintenance of their assets, driving excellence and innovation every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control the implementation of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, prioritising safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM) to maximise fleet availability.
- Provide technical advice and expertise, demonstrating professionalism and adherence to company policies.
- Drive preventative actions and manage system repairs to maintain optimal plant operation.
- Act as a direct contact for global customers and partners, assisting in technical cases and ensuring maximum plant availability.
- Lead 1st / 2nd line fault response, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Support new plant start-ups and continuous development of site operating procedures.
- Manage sub-contractors for specific tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Role Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in engineering with electrical and instrumentation bias.
- Minimum 5 year's experience in related field or industry, with strong knowledge of boiler heating systems. Experience with steam boilers is advantageous.
- Experience with gas turbines and reciprocating engines advantageous.
- Gas Safe Registration beneficial; health & safety qualification desirable.
- Independent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work constructively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, including internationally and around the UK as and when required.
- Computer literacy and a valid driving license required.
