Quality And Technical Supply Chain Executive

Quality and Technical Supply Chain Executive, working for a global automotive provider of vehicles, parts and services based in Wiltshire. This is a 12-month rolling contract offered to the right candidate with a circa of £50k plus enhanced employee benefits and unrivalled product training and development. Working on a full-time basis Monday to Friday, you will work in collaboration with highly experienced automotive engineers, technical advisor and operational staff.

Ideally, we seek a candidate from a similar or same background, someone who has worked with global, Technical Supply Chains, sourcing best product parts, for the best price supported by achievable delivery schedules. To undertake all activities where Quality & Technical engineering expertise is required including (but not limited too) Supplier Quality Assurance improvement activities in line with incoming & market claim performance. Managing all Reject Analysis (Including Packaging, Logistics failures), 8D reporting, response validation and management, all requirements and result validation plus the Initiation of supplier improvement activities.

You will also support departments technical investigation activities in line with technical enquiries, risk supplier projects and part no reduction activity, monitoring and reporting performance both internally and externally. Naturally you will have excellent levels of verbal and written communication skills with advanced working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint and Word). Needing an inquisitive and investigative mindset is key to this role, as there is an expectation to consistently liaise with a global portfolio of technical suppliers, therefore previous Supply Chain, purchasing and expediting skills are essential.

The position of Quality and Technical Supply Chain Executive requires a recognised engineering qualification (HNC Mech/Production Engineering or higher), due to the need to understand both commercial and Technical automotive engineering terminology.
