Interaction Recruitment have teamed up with a globally recognised manufacturer. Due to a success within the business they are looking to take on a skilled Test & Quality engineer. As a Product Test & Quality Engineer, you will establish test standards for all products in key markets. Your responsibilities will include ensuring easy-to-follow standards, serving as the point of contact for all test-related queries, and checking work conducted by the product development team and manufacturing partners.
Responsibilities:
- Establish test standards for all products in key markets.
- Upload test standards documentation to the company database.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all test-related questions.
- Conduct hands-on tests in the workshop where possible.
- Maintain test and quality documentation professionally.
- Support product development and ongoing compliance work.
- Check that test work meets the correct standards.
- Assist in quality process plans and make improvements/updates.
- Contribute to creating and monitoring quality documentation.
- Support compliance work as needed.
- Perform additional ad-hoc product engineering tasks as delegated by line management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in similar roles.
- Some experience in managing product (test & quality) documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office package, including SharePoint.
- Some understanding of business process improvement
- Awareness of international and industry-standard safety regulations.
- Experience working with lighting, lighting controls, AC power outlets, DC voltage chargers, or other consumer electronic products.
- Some experience or awareness of certifying electrical products to global markets (CE/UKCA, CB, UL/ETL).
- Foreign language skills (Mandarin and/or European).
