Quality Assurance AssistantMarchMonday to Friday double daysStarting salary of £24,024.00paAre you a passionate Quality Assurance Assistant, looking for an exciting new role?Coulter Elite Resourcing are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients based in March.The company is well-established and one of the world’s leading co-manufacturers and co-packers, within the food and beverage industry.Principle Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Assistant:-* Provide engineering cover to the Production Department ensuring that breakdowns are rectified promptly and effectively, resulting in minimum unplanned downtime.* Respond to breakdowns with a high degree of urgency being suitably prepared to undertake diagnostic tasks.* Liaise with the Shift Manager to ensure that the most appropriate repair is made at the time of the breakdown* Ensure the standards of safety, accuracy and productivity, administration, housekeeping and hygiene are maintained to the company’s standards.* Cost effective set up of production lines to achieve pre-determined efficiency levels.* To carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules.* To operate within the required company and legislative health and safety standards.* To update engineering record systemsPerson specification:-* Time served engineer with 2 years+ in a maintenance role* IEE 17th/18th Edition Regulations* Excellent Fault-finding background* Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance knowledge* Food industry backgroundThis is a full time permanent Quality Assurance Assistant position, the shift is Monday to Friday, 2-Shift Pattern - 5.45am - 2pm and 1.45pm - 10pm, alternating on a weekly basis.
