SalaryWe are currently looking for a QA Engineer for a fabrication shop in South Tyneside.
This is a permanent role in a well established company with a stable stream of long term work.
The role:
- Assist in maintenance of ISO1384 and BSEN1090 quality standards
- Manage welding procedures and certs for welders
- Liaise with third party inspectors and clients regarding quality
- Be the main point of contact for all the welding produced by the company
- Visual and dimensional checks and assistance when required
This role would suit someone with a welding supervisor/QA Engineer background in a fabrications environment.
The salary is 35-40k on dayshift with life insurance etc as part of the overall package
