Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnered with a small SME in Chesterfield that are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their business on a 12 month FTC to cover maternity.
The company are a specialist engineering business supplying products and technical services on a global basis to many growing industrial sectors such as aerospace, building products, fine chemicals and fertilisers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain process QMS to ISO9001 Accreditation Quality Standards
- Responsibility for identifying, reporting and raising process issues and identify resolution.
- Support production with best practice inspection techniques.
- Analyse existing Quality practices and procedures and proactively implement changes where necessary.
- Liaise with third party inspection services as required.
- Co-ordinate Quality Assurance activities to prevent the release on nonconforming products.
- Identify issues through internal department checks, carry out
- investigations and audits, identifying root cause and applying and following up corrective actions
I'm keen to speak with candidates with the following skillset:
- Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- ISO9001 auditor
- Available at short notice for a minimum of 12 months
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of problem solving
