We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join a dynamic food company located near Norwich. The role is pivotal in maintaining the highest levels of quality and compliance across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation and management of Quality Assurance systems and procedures. Conduct thorough audits, inspections, and risk assessments to guarantee compliance with industry standards. Handle quality-related issues, including customer complaints and incident analyses. Collaborate in the development and refinement of emergency management plans, especially for product recalls. Supervise the calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment utilized in quality control and production. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Food Science, or a related field, with a solid understanding of food industry standards. Proven experience in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing sector. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, manufacturing best practices, and HACCP Level 3 certification. Experience in team leadership and conducting internal audits. Knowledge of BRC standards and their application in a food production environment. Basic comprehension of microbiology as it relates to food safety.
