1 Compliance Management
- To support the Technical Manager during external certification audits /site visits/inspections
- To participate and support customer Audits
- To carry out Internal audits
- Daily verification of all CCPs (cooking, cooling, hot filling, ph, etc.)
- Daily temperature checks of all production rooms, chills and products
- Daily quality checks on all ingredients, WIP materials and finished products to ensure correct quality and traceability
- Complete Daily GMP walk around production area and highlight any non- conformances to the supervisor/charge-hand/manager and Senior Team Leader
- Responsible for placing any non-conforming product On Hold/Restricted Use/Condemned and completing relevant On Hold Log
- Completing of Daily/Monthly/Quarterly Glass & Hard Plastic Audits
- Complete equipment calibration checks e.g. temperature probe, CCPs and scales
- Completion of Corrective Action Reports for any non-conforming products or incidents to ensure effective close out identifying root cause and corrective actions
- Attendance at weekly lean board meetings and recording of daily issues onto QA lean board
- Attending taste panel as part of wider Technical Team
- Collection and storage of all retained product samples
- Any other reasonable tasks related to position as deemed suitable by TM
- Microbiological assessment of the hazards and evaluation of the processes
- Sampling and swabbing as per the environmental monitoring procedure and product testing and inspection procedures
- Problem solving and resolutions for any potential microbiological contamination and cross-contamination
- Working towards BRCGS implementation and continuous improvement.
2 Systems
- To ensure effective Documentation control
- To support the Technical Manager in maintaining effective documentation control, proposing any amendments required and implementing the new requirements across the site
- To ensure policies and procedures are updated, accurate and followed through, while escalating to TM any gaps for improvement
- To ensure proper record keeping, record completion by the operations
3 Traceability
- Production paperwork and proof of delivery
- Traceability Tests and audits

4 Supplier Approval
- Keeping up-to –date supplier approval system and archive details from Suppliers
- Liaise with the purchasing department and request the relevant supplier approval information, documents and certificates
5 Customer interaction
- Customer complaint handling and support Technical Manager in handling appropriate customer complaints
- Respond to and follow up customer enquiries (e.g. SAQ, Product Specification, Allergen details) Technical service
- Issuing Certificates of Conformance and Certificates of Analysis for products
6 Production Compliance
- Making sure the products are produced in accordance with the specification required in food safety, quality, legality and authenticity aspects
- Collecting, checking and archive production process control records
- Quality control of finished products including packaging quality
7 Control of non-conforming product
8 Sampling
- To coordinate sampling plan and comply with analysis requirements. Work with laboratories and review and read the results and take actions where necessary.
- Control of Operations and report any non-conformity or areas of improvements
- Labelling and packaging control
- Quantity checks, weights, numbering, volume control
10 Training
- Self Development. To understand and grasp the company policies and procedures and improve where required
- To develop and maintain the site training matrix, training materials and training records.
