As an All-Quality Events (AQE) Quality Gate Auditor, you will conduct audits on fully or partially built machines to a takt time, following inspection standard work documents.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Record defect information in detail to the quality gate visual management boards/management systems

• Clearly communicate defects and support area personnel as defects are identified

• Provide detailed quality feedback at daily quality meetings

• Participate in defect investigations and component inspection as required

• Adhere to the Company's Health & Safety Policy and safe working practices

• Adhere to Caterpillar's Values in Action: Integrity, Commitment, Excellence, Teamwork & Sustainability

Candidates will have gained the following skills and experience through previous roles:

• Experience of Built in Quality process

• All Quality Events (AQE) experience

• The ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions/procedures

• High level of attention to detail

• Understanding of Caterpillar Quality Acceptance Standards

• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills

• Ability to work through quality issues in a methodical manner

• Willing to work a multi-shift system

• Working ability with mechanical assembly

• Basic IT skills

Salary: £25,000 rising to £26,350 once competent

Contract: Permanent
