An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Technicianto join a well-established specialist manufacturer in the Witney area. With growth plans to scale their GBP100m turnover business to over GBP200m over the next 5 years, this role is a key component to ensure that their targets through the certification of their new and existing products. The Compliance Technicianwill work across various departments, like R&D, Production, you will need to be organised, methodical but also approachable to ensure that other teams are working towards the testing and certification of their products.
Other key Compliance Technicianduties include:
- Assist with the preparation for external quality audits.
- Document Control: to generate, format, maintain and archive documents on internal and external systems (ERP, Intranet and Internet).
- Accurately document the results of external testing.
- Maintaining all product technical files and test records.
- Maintain product standards (to include, but not exclusive to, BS, EN, ISO, CFR).
- Supplier Liaison; to compile relevant product information.
- Perform inspections of purchased parts, sub-assemblies and/or finished Company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical measurements.
- Experience of working within a Quality or Compliance related role, ideally working on the documentation that surrounds it.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Good 'people skills' and a genuine interest in working with a range of colleagues.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to be flexible, decisive and quick-thinking.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and ERP systems).
- Logical, methodical approach to your work; attention to detail.
- Good communication skills - important to motivate others to improve the quality of their work, as well as to explain your findings clearly.
- Good report writing skills.
