Our global client is a forward-thinking business that is a specialist in its field within the medical sector. They have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector to join their existing and expanding team. The role will be responsible for ensuring the materials and production of the products are meeting the exacting standards by performing tests. This role will be reporting to the Quality Control Manager.
Job Description for the Quality Control Inspector is:
- Testing the products that are being manufactured in line with the company procedures and sampling plans
- Inspect pre-production raw materials in accordance with sampling plans
- Approve incoming materials and production products by confirming acceptance of specifications.
- Reject and disposition materials and production products not meeting specifications.
- Ensure inspection and sampling activities are planned adequately to minimise delays for production or final release.
- Liaise with QA, Production, Warehouse, and Transport Managers on issues found during product testing and material inspection.
- Document inspection and test results in accordance with specified requirements.
- Assist in resolving quality-related issues in a timely manner and support implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
- Ensure test methods comply with applicable consensus standards and that test methods are validated where required.
- Work within a clean room environment when required
- Understanding of Quality Control in a manufacturing environment
- Strong report-writing skills would be beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Someone who can work to deadlines and is a strong team player
- A science-related degree would be desirable and/or 3+ years of quality experience
- Manufacturing or laboratory experience is required Own transport is required
